'A free exhibition held at the State Library of NSW in association with the Department for Women.' The initials 'J.F.' appear in the lower left side of the line. The artist is identified as Jan Fieldsend in the exhibition catalogue. In 2019 the Library was given the framed original poster which had been commissioned for the exhibition by then Director General of the Department for Women Carolyn Bloch.
The poster contains an image of a woman's shoe, probably 20s/30s style, stepping across a black, chain-like line. The shoe is in red on a yellow, green and purple background.
