"Confessions of a simple surgeon"features the well known anti-smoking campaigner Dr Arthur Chesterfield-Evans. Follows his progression froma young starry-eyed medical student ready to "save the human race" to a case-hardened surgeon, a journey which results in his swapping the scalpel for the spray-can as he takes on the 'bad guys" in the tobacco industry. Exposes the darker side of the tobacco conspiracy, especially the recruitment of young smokers through clever imagery in advertising. Presents the associated health risks of smoking and passive smoking. "AIDS now" looks at HIV and AIDS and how it affects women. Women say how they feel about themselves, their sexuality and their relationships.
