Title on cover: Jessie Street National Women's Library Lunch Hour Talk "Alice Wheeldon's story" Deirdre and Chloe Mason 20th February 2014
JSNWL Lunch Hour talk held in the Southern Function Room, Town Hall House, Kent Street, Sydney.
Speakers: Deirdre and Chloe Mason -- Chair: Jozefa Sobski.
Deirdre and Chloe Mason, feminists themselves, have a family heritage of peace and social justice activism. Great grandmother Alice Wheeldon, a suffragist and courageous anti-war campaigner, was subjected in 1917 to a questionable conviction for conspiracy to murder Britain's prime minister.
