Article on Julie McCrossin's address published in "Jessie Street National Women's Library Newsletter" vol. 11No. 3 September 2000.
Suzanne Davies (JSNWL Chair) - welcome -- Hon. Patricia Forsythe - Host -- Shirley Jones - "Where is Jessie Street and why a women's Library?" -- Julie McCrossin - Guest speaker.
Julie McCrossin's address was on the importance of women recognising the value of their own lives and gave examples of how much women's experience was downgraded in historical accounts. She exhorted guests to keep their papers - letters, diaries, journals - and donate them to the Library archives.
