The 2004 Edna Ryan Awards were held on 12/06/2004 at Diethnes Restaurant, Sydney, in conjunction with the National WEL Conference.

The Edna Ryan Awards have been presented each year since 1998 by the N.S.W. Women's Electoral Lobby as a memorial to Edna Ryan, and a way of publicising women's achievements.
