Summary: ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY Rouge was Australia’s national feminist newspaper, first published in 1979. Rouge collectives were established in Adelaide, Alice Springs, Darwin, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Collectives were responsible for publishing the newspaper on a rotation basis every two months.
