In January 1998 a meeting was held at Katungul Aboriginal Corporation Community and Medical Service to talk about violence against Aboriginal women. Out of this meeting the Anti-Violence Against Koori Women and Children Group was formed. This group aimed to put strategies in place to reduce violence against Aboriginal women and children on the south east coast of NSW. This video and the camps shown are two initiatives the group has organised
