This booklet is a companion to the "Women at the heart" Exhibition at the National Pioneer Women's Hall of Fame, Alice Springs, Northern Territory. The Exhibition was initiated by Pauline Cockrill in 1998 when NPWHF was located in the Old Courthouse. Funding from the Departments of Arts and Museums and Industry and Business in 2000 assisted in its development. The Exhibition was revised and redesigned by Kessing Clack Kessing for relocation to the Old Gaol site in 2007. --- Foreword.
